At its simplest, there are three elements to creating a successful marketing strategy:

Audience

Do you have a clear idea of your target market and their psychological drivers?

Messaging

Have you identified the most motivating messages to take to that audience?

Communications

Do you know what channels to use to land those messages effectively?

Unless you have a clear idea of the answer to each of these questions, it’s very difficult to build a successful marketing plan for your business. That’s where we can help.

Some clients work with us as their overall strategic marketing partner, others may use us for a particular aspect of their marketing – perhaps a new product launch or solely to look at their online presence.

Whatever your brief, we can work with you to create a robust marketing strategy that supports your overall business goals and objectives, and to shape this into a realistic marketing plan.

Typically, strategic planning will involve analysis of your market, competitors, customers and your own company and products. Taking these insights coupled with your overall objectives, we then seek to identify a unique and motivating proposition for your business that will set you apart from your competitors and resonate effectively with your target audience.

Once a strategy is agreed, we can then start to plan communications to take your messaging to your target audiences. Because we are realistic about the resources of small and medium sized businesses, our approach to implementation will often focus on media that are owned, such as your website and literature – and those that are earned, such as social media chatter and more traditional PR-generated media coverage. You don’t need a big media budget to reach the audiences that matter to you.
